Mama Johnson

Not much is known about Mama Johnson. When asked direct questions about herself, sources say she more often ends up quoting The Scriptures. This Black African-American woman has lived in the Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida area for much of her seventy-nine years. She likes to draw while sitting in bed. She uses magic marker, crayon, and ball point pen. She also paints with acrylic. She is represented by Main Street Gallery in Clayton, Georgia. All drawings in this show are in magic marker.
