Only The Heart Can Receive

Rosalind Coleman was born and raised in the South, and presently lives in Lakeland, Florida, where she makes art and runs her business, "K-art". She writes," I was raised in a small family yet have high aspirations... One day while working in the business world, Rodney Hardee* introduced me to this type of art. From that day on, the bright shining gleam in my eye led me to pursue art as a way to express some of life's pain, struggles, sorrow, and happiness... What one eye beholds is often unseen by another...My paintings capture the inner essence, that one key element which only the heart can receive. They are food for the soul.
*Rodney Hardee is a local Lakeland collector/dealer/ artist who, over the past twenty years, befriended a large number of individuals and encouraged them to make art. Over the years, he has made a major contribution in the promotion of Outsider Art produced in Central Florida.
